Georgia Aquarium Trip

Recently a group of MGTC's Faculty, Staff and Alumni visited the Georgia Aquarium on Saturday May 17. The group toured and learned about the different aquatic life at the Georgia Aquarium. The event was sponsored by the MGTC Alumni Association.

Thanks for a Wonderful Family Fun Day!

We had a beautiful fall day as we celebrated our first “Family Fun Day” at our Cohen Walker Drive campus at Middle Georgia Technical College on Saturday, November 5. The MGTC Alumni Association sponsored the event, and everyone had a spectacular time. There were dancing groups performing in the grass and on stage, joining us from the Warner Robins Academy of Dance and the YMCA. The Alumni Association extends thanks to Sarah Gegogeine from the YMCA and Kim Rowley from the Academy of Dance for providing us with these fantastic dance groups. Our own Johnny McDonald joined the Good News Blue Grass Band in entertaining the audience with a mean guitar performance, and there was plenty of bouncing, jousting, and sliding going on for the kids, compliments of Parties and Balloons. And of course, no celebration is complete without an abundance of good food. We appreciate our vendors, Italian Pie, Chick-fil-A, and Brewster’s Ice-Cream, and our student clubs, DEX and A.I.T.P., for helping us to take care of the appetites. The Alumni Association plans to make “Family Fun Day” an ongoing event at Middle Georgia Technical College

Our Purpose

MG-TAAG is organized exclusively for charitable, scientific, and educational purposes, more specifically to develop a continual relationship between former students of MGTC, provide educational support and opportunities of experience for current students, promote unity between past and present students, and increase enrollment.

Commemorative Walkway

MG-TAAG invites you to join with us in laying the foundation for a commemorative walkway in front of the new bookstore and administration building. Your tax deductible gift will build a legacy for future student, family, and friends and serve as a reminder of the tremendous efforts and accomplishments fulfilled through MGTC. Demonstrate your love for Middle Georgia Technical College and your vision for future generations by participating with us in the creation of this walkway. You may buy bricks individually, in groups for a discount, or along with Alumni membership if you are eligible.
