- December 6:MGTC Foundation sponsors "The Ocmulgee Symphony Orchestra" Holiday concert
- Start planning now to attend as the MGTC Foundation sponsors "The Ocmulgee Symphony Orchestra" Holiday concert this coming December 6th. On Saturday, December 6, 2008, the OSO will perform in the A Building auditorium. The Ocmulgee Symphony Orchestra has earned rave reviews in its inaugural year at the Hawkinsville Opera House. We will be having special promotions on tickets for our students. Regular tickets will be $25 per person, and all profits will go towards MGTC Scholarships. Advance ticket purchases can be made through the MGTC Foundation. Contact Cheryl Stelk at 988-6800, ext. 7201.

- August 6: Phi Beta Lambda's Guest Speaker
- Mr. Terry Wallace (PA with Dr. Freeman, dermatologist)will be in the auditorium at 11 to deliver a presentation on skin cancer.
- August 13: Phi Beta Lambda's Guest Speaker
- Mr. John Crow, spokesman for the Georgia Lottery will be in the auditorium at 11 to sit through an interview-type presentation.

- Our Awards Day Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the auditorium. If you are participating or receiving an award please arrive at 10:45. We look forward to recognizing our students, faculty and staff.
