High School Students Get First-Hand Criminal Justice Experience

As a part of the dual enrollment initiatives of Middle Georgia Technical College, high school students in Houston County are able to gain early experience in the criminal justice field. The Technical College Foundation Association of Georgia (TCFA) announced Houston Healthcare as Benefactor of the Year for 2012. The announcement was made at the Technical College System of Georgia Leadership Conference awards dinner Tuesday, September 25 at the Hyatt Regency in Savannah. D'Meco Rozier Signs Letter of Intent to Play Basketball at Middle Georgia Technical College

Dublin High School’s D'Meco "Trey" Rozier has signed a letter of intent to play for the MGTC Men's basketball team this upcoming Fall season. As a standout guard at Dublin High School, Rozier led the Irish to an 18-8 season record in Region 3AA. As a 5'10 combo guard, Trey is expected to make tremendous contributions to the Titans' basketball team with his great shooting skills and ability to score from outside the three-point range.Read More
Shellie Harrell Wins Great Clips Challenge at Middle Georgia Technical College

Great Clips salon owners, John and Brenda Page, recently hosted the "Great Clips Challenge" for Cosmetology students at Middle Georgia Technical College in Warner Robins. Shellie Harrell of Warner Robins emerged as the top finisher in the competition and received a $100 cash prize. Prizes were also awarded for second through fifth places.Read More

Kevis Jackson and Dess Culpepper made their plans after Middle Georgia Tech official on May 22, 2012 as they signed their letters of intent to continue pursuing their education and athletic aspirations at Barber Scotia College in Concord, North Carolina. Both young men will take their talents to Concord, North Carolina and become Saber Tooth Tigers as they will play for Coach Marcus Pryor.
