MGTC, Community Leaders Featured on Cover of New Community Magazine

Warner Robins - Community leaders from Houston County, including Dr. Ivan Allen, president of Middle Georgia Technical College (MGTC), gathered at the College in Warner Robins for a cover photo shoot for the first edition of the new Around Town Warner Robins magazine. A sister publication to Around Town North Macon, the magazine made its Houston County debut in November.

This inaugural edition featured interviews with community leaders who shared their thoughts on what makes Houston County a great place to live and work. Featured community leaders include Major General Polly Peyer, commander of the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Air Force Materiel Command, Robins Air Force Base; Colonel Warren Berry, 78th Air Base Wing and Installation commander at Robins Air Force Base; Larry Collins, mayor of Byron; Clifford Holmes, acting mayor of Warner Robins; Grady W. "Skip" Phillips, CEO of Houston Healthcare; Jerry Walls, senior pastor of Southside Baptist Church; Harold Edwards, mayor of Centerville; David Carpenter, superintendent of Houston County Schools; Morgan Law, executive director of the Houston County Development Authority; Edward Rodriguez, CEO and president of the Warner Robins Area Chamber of Commerce; James Worrall, mayor of Perry; Jeff Scruggs, vice president for Technology and Institutional Support Services at MGTC; and Michelle Siniard, vice president for Administrative Services at MGTC.
