Emcees Confirmed for MGTC Foundation First Annual Hooterville Hoedown

Warner Robins - John Crow, television spokesperson for the Georgia Lottery, and Jody Usry of Byron will serve as co-emcees for the first annual Hooterville Hoedown, hosted by Middle Georgia Technical College Foundation. The Hooterville Hoedown is a reverse raffle fundraiser benefitting the MGTC Foundation and its mission of assisting Middle Georgia Technical College and its students. The event will be held November 8th at Hooterville Farms on Highway 41 between Highway 96 and Russell Parkway. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the raffle will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Crow was selected as the television host for the Georgia Lottery drawings after an intense American Idol-style talent search. He was selected from over 4,500 applicants for the job. He is a native of New Mexico but has lived most of his life in Marietta, which he considers his home. He attended Montana State University and graduated with a bachelor's of Arts in Motion Picture and Television Production.

Jody Usry will co-host alongside Crow. He is from Byron and will bring a flavor of the local area to the event. He will also introduce "Bubba Ballard" to the audience. Both hosts are sure to provide great entertainment and variety at the event and will add to the excitement of awarding the $10,000 prize at the end of the night.
