Warner Robins - The Middle Georgia Technical College Foundation is gearing up for the first annual Hooterville Hoedown, a reverse raffle fundraiser benefitting the MGTC Foundation. The event will be held November 8th at Hooterville Farms on Highway 41 between Highway 96 and Russell Parkway. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the raffle will begin at 6:30 p.m.
The Hooterville Hoedown is the kickoff for the MGTC Foundation's FY 2009 annual campaign and will offer lots of fun and entertainment. Only 300 tickets will be sold. Each ticket is $100 and admits two and offers one chance at the drawing for the grand prize of $10,000. Guests will be treated to a low country boil and pig pull dinner. Jody Usry of Byron will serve as the emcee for the raffle and DJ Tiger Smith of Fort Valley will provide music and entertainment.
A silent auction with many great items will be on hand at the Hoedown. Some of the items up for auction include overnight stays in Hilton Head, SC and Lake Oconee.
