Titans Post Second Win of the Season

Warner Robins - The Middle Georgia Technical College Titans traveled to Valdosta Monday, November 24 for a match against Moody Air Force Base's basketball team. The Titans came away victorious with a winning score of 86-83.

The top scorer for the Titans was Marketing Management student Kenny Willis. He led all scorers with 29 points. Automotive student Michael Ingle followed with 18 points. In addition, Industrial Systems student Gabriel Wright had 14 points and 14 rebounds.

Other scorers in the game were Joshua Stanley, Barbering, with six points; Kevin Battle, Aircraft Structural Technology, with five points; and Antonio Holley, Drafting, with two points.

Ingle also received Player of the Game honors for his leadership on the court.

"This was a terrific effort on everyone's part," said Antonio Shelley, Industrial Systems program chair and men's basketball coach. "Our team is really coming together and performing on the court and putting points on the scoreboard."

The Titans will be in action again in Atlanta for a Thanksgiving tournament at Atlanta Metropolitan College. The next home game will be December 6 at 2 p.m. against the Golden Knights of West Central Technical College. All MGTC home games are played at Fort Valley State University.
