MGTC Students Win Statewide Dental Hygiene Table Clinic Competition

Atlanta - Amber Britt and Megan Rowland, both senior students in the Dental Hygiene program at Middle Georgia Technical College in Warner Robins, recently won first place in the state-level annual Georgia Dental Hygiene Association (GDHA) table clinic competition. The competition was held at Georgia Perimeter College in Atlanta.

Britt and Rowland presented their topic "How Does Green Tea Affect the Oral Cavity?" and competed against Dental Hygiene students from across the state. The MGTC students were notified of their win just recently and will be awarded a plaque.

Second place in the competition went to Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.
