MGTC Hosts Coats for Kids Drive
Warner Robins - Students, staff and faculty at Middle Georgia Technical College in Warner Robins came together this holiday season to make the cold winter days a bit warmer for those in need. The College held a Coats for Kids drive and collected over 75 coats to donate to local children. The coats were delivered to the Rainbow House in Warner Robins.
In addition, the College had some help collecting the coats. Members of the Houston County High School Student-Parent-Teacher (STP) organization also collected coats and delivered them to the College for inclusion in the drive. HoCo STP organization members Barbara Metheny, Debbie Nuclo and her daughter Lauren, delivered the donations to MGTC. Alicia Long, coordinator for Special Events for the MGTC Foundation accepted the coats on behalf of the College.
