Student Leadership Council Officers Elected at Middle Georgia Technical College

Warner Robins - Student Leadership Council (SLC) elections were held at Middle Georgia Technical College in Warner Robins Wednesday, May 27. A run-off election for the position of Vice President was conducted Tuesday, June 2 after a too-close-to-call result in the first election.

Tifany Gatewood, an Aircraft Structural Technology student, was elected as president of the organization. Another Aircraft Structural student, Sam Waterman, emerged as vice-president. Patience Phinisee, Cosmetology, was elected treasurer and Rhonda Hightower, Early Childhood Care and Education, was elected Secretary. Janet Soderman, Practical Nursing, is the new parliamentarian and Audrey Milton, Business Administrative Technology, will serve as historian.

The Student Leadership Council is an organization made up of representatives from all occupational programs at MGTC.
