Zaxby's Donates to MGTC Titans Booster Club

Warner Robins - William Conner, franchise owner of Zaxby's on Warren Drive, off of Highway 96, recently made a $1,000 donation to the Middle Georgia Technical College Titans Booster Club. Conner, along with General Manager Shabasco Austin, presented the donation at the Spring Quarter Awards Day ceremony.

"We greatly appreciate the support that Mr. Conner and Zaxby's has shown for our club sports programs at MGTC," said Bruce Foster, director of Student Support Services at MGTC. "Zaxby's has supported us from the beginning when we started our club sports teams in 2008. We truly value their continuing partnership with our College."

Zaxby's became the charter member of the Titans Booster club in early 2009, during the Titans first season of basketball. In addition to financial support, the restaurant also hung a framed Titans jersey in the foyer of the Warren Drive location.

Middle Georgia Technical College continues to expand club sports offerings at the College. Currently, MGTC has men's and women's basketball teams, coed soccer, coed softball, and cheerleading. Additionally, the College will be forming a volleyball team for the 2010-2011 season.
