Surgical Technology Students Pinned at Middle Georgia Tech
Warner Robins - Graduating students in the Surgical Technology program at Middle Georgia Technical College in Warner Robins were pinned at the recent Fall Quarter Awards Day ceremony held in the auditorium on campus. The pin signifies that the student has completed all coursework and clinical requirements for the Surgical Technology program and is eligible to sit for the National Certification Exam.
Students who were pinned at the ceremony include Victoria Andrews of Warner Robins; Hanz Cabasares of Perry; Seth Cobb of Rochelle; Ankita Desai of Cordele; Miranda Hewitt of Cochran; Chontarous King of Warner Robins; Damion Landry of Warner Robins; LaSonya Mahoganey-Peavy of Pineview; Andrew Markham of Perry; Elizabeth Marin of Abbeville; Pamala Sills of Warner Robins; and Susan Waldo of Warner Robins.
Presenting the students with their pins was Allied Health Division Chair and Surgical Technology Program Chair Lorna Cox and Surgical Technology Instructor Sylvia Hines.
The Surgical Technology program at Middle Georgia Technical College is a five quarter program. Students receive classroom and hands-on training in a clinical setting.
