MGTC Student Curtis Towers Wins Nintendo Wii

Warner Robins - Curtis Towers of Warner Robins, a Computer Support Specialist student at Middle Georgia Technical College, was named the winner of a brand new Nintendo Wii game system after his name was drawn in a raffle held by the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) Club. AITP members hosted the raffle to support club projects and help sponsor the club's trip to national competition in Orlando, Fla.

Shawna Early, Information Technology instructor and adviser for the AITP club made the announcement after the drawing was held.

AITP is a national professional association for career-minded individuals who seek to expand their potential. The organization seeks to provide avenues for all members to be teachers as well as students and to make contacts with other members in the Information Technology field, all in an effort to become more marketable in rapidly changing, technological careers.
