MGTC Graduation to be Streamed Live

For the second year in a row, Middle Georgia Technical College will stream its June 17th graduation ceremony live on its website, middlegatech.edu, allowing friends and family of graduates anywhere in the world to view the ceremony. Cabiness Video Productions of Macon will handle the production of the event.

In addition to the live streaming, graduates and family members will have the opportunity to purchase a DVD of the graduation ceremony to preserve memories for years to come. DVDs will be available for $20 each. All DVDs must be pre-ordered and prepaid. Order forms are available now at the College and will be available at the ceremony also. DVD orders will be mailed after the ceremony.

MGTC's graduation ceremony will be held Friday, June 17th at the Miller-Murphy-Howard Building at the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter in Perry. Over 300 associate degree, diploma, and GED® graduates will cross the stage to receive their award. The event begins at 7 pm and is open to the public with free admission. Shaw Blackmon, president and CEO of National Bank Products in Warner Robins and member of the State Board of the Technical College System of Georgia, will serve as the keynote speaker.

Summer quarter begins July 6 and is only five weeks long. Students can earn full credit in half the time. Summer 2011 is the last quarter for qualified students to receive full HOPE tuition benefits.
