Georgia Bob's Supports MGTC's American Heart Association Campaign

Georgia Bob Evans and partner, Jennifer Cox, of Georgia Bob's BBQ recently presented the Middle Georgia Technical College Student Clubs Heart Walk team with a check for $1,000 in support of the American Heart Association. Georgia Bob's solicited donations by selling hearts at their restaurants in Warner Robins, Byron, and Macon to support the team's efforts.

"We are so appreciative of Georgia Bob's support of our team's mission to support the American Heart Association," said Debbie Price, Student Leadership Council adviser. "MGTC's student clubs came together to make this work and we were able to raise money for a good cause. Partners like Georgia Bob's really helped make our success possible."

Overall, the Student Club’s team, under Price's leadership, raised just over $1,500. As a whole, MGTC raised $4,925 in support of the American Heart Association's annual Houston County Heart Walk.
