Some courses at MGTC have specific software, textbook, and/or On-Campus requirements that should be noted by students and are included in the list below.

Please note, this list is NOT all-inclusive. Please contact your course instructor to verify the course requirements prior to purchasing materials through a source other than the MGTC Bookstore.
 

 

ONLINE COURSE SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS

ACC1104 ONLINE STUDENTS: You must have Quickbooks for this course. A trial copy of Quickbooks is available with the textbook when purchased from the MGTC bookstore.

CIST1130, CIST1122, and CIST1401 ONLINE STUDENTS: TBA. Please contact your course instructor. Or check this site later for updates.

CIST2126, CIST2128, CIST2129 ONLINE STUDENTS: You must have Office 2010 for these courses. A trial version of Office 2010 can be purchased at the MGTC bookstore or www.cengagebrain.com.

COMP1000 ONLINE STUDENTS: TBA. Please contact your course instructor. Or check this site later for updates.

MATH 0099, MATH1011, MATH1012, MATH1013, MATH1015, MATH1111, MATH1112, and MATH1113 ONLINE STUDENTS: You must have MyMathLab for these courses, which can be purchased through the MGTC bookstore. Access to MyMathLab includes access to an e-textbook. A physical textbook is not required.

PSYC1010, PSYC1101, and PSYC1150 ONLINE STUDENTS: You must have Microsoft Word for these courses, or software to allow you to save your documents as .doc or .docx documents. PSYC1010 and PSYC1101 require MyPsychLab, which can be purchased through the MGTC bookstore.

ONLINE COURSE TEXTBOOK REQUIREMENTS

BUS 2370 ONLINE STUDENTS: You must have access to a current ICD9 and CPT coding manual. You can buy your own copy or you can rent a copy from the bookstore (will require a $100.00 deposit). The deposit is refundable upon return of the manual to the bookstore.

ALL OTHER ONLINE COURSES: Please contact the MGTC Bookstore or your course instructor for textbook requirements specific to your course.



 

ONLINE COURSE ON-CAMPUS REQUIREMENTS

ASTT1120 ONLINE STUDENTS: Students must complete an on-campus final project. The project will require 20 hours on campus during one week of the semester. Please contact the course instructor for dates and times.

EMP1000 STUDENTS: All EMP 1000 students are required to complete an on-campus interview. Interviews are typically scheduled near the end of the semester. Arrangements for proctored and/or video interviews must be discussed with the course instructor in advance.

ENG1105 STUDENTS: All ENG1105 students are required to complete an on campus presentation for this course.
